Our Story
Charlotte’s Web was created from lived experience—and a deep calling to support families during moments of profound uncertainty.
Charlotte’s story is woven into the very foundation of this work.
During a complicated pregnancy marked by prolonged hospital stays, unanswered questions, and long stretches of waiting, our family experienced firsthand how isolating this season can feel. Even with excellent medical care, there were moments when support felt fragmented—when emotional weight, practical needs, and financial uncertainty all collided at once.
Charlotte was lovingly known as our little sunshine.
In a moment filled with so much pain, when we were finally able to see her—her tiny hands, her feet, her nose, her lips—we felt something unexpected: warmth, love, and a sense of peace that cut through the heaviness around us. Though her time here was brief, the light she brought with her was immediate and undeniable.
That moment didn’t just change how we felt—it changed what we understood.
We came to realize that even in the deepest uncertainty and loss, connection matters.
That love and grief can exist side by side.
And that presence—no matter how brief—can leave a lasting imprint.
We also saw something else:
There is a gap between clinical care and the emotional, practical support families need in these moments.
Charlotte’s Web was created to help fill that space.
Our mission is to build a web of support for families navigating complicated pregnancies and prolonged hospital stays—especially during the in-between moments, when families are waiting, hoping, grieving, and trying to find their footing.
We believe that no two journeys unfold the same way. Each family’s story is shaped by deeply personal experiences, and our work is rooted in honoring those stories without assumptions or expectations about outcomes.
Through thoughtfully curated care packages, compassionate resources, and accessible education, Charlotte’s Web helps strengthen the support system surrounding families during times of uncertainty. We do not replace medical teams or clinical care—rather, we help connect the emotional and practical threads that can feel scattered along the way.
Charlotte’s Web exists to offer support without pressure, hope without promises, and compassion without judgment.
We walk alongside families as their stories continue to unfold—
whatever shape their path may take.
